This is what it looks like. This is what I used and doubled it up with black silicone rtv sealant. This fix does not obscure the view from within as it is still in the blackened border of the windshield. Wind noise at highway speeds is reduced also.
The groove in the rubber fits perfectly over the edge of the trim. So easy to install with the silicone. Saved $$$$$ doing this. The only area that it looks "funny" is at the top, otherwise to a casual observer one would think It came with the car like that.

You will need 4 pieces approximately 38 inches each. I bought a length that was 15 feet and had left overs. I used black rtv silicone sealant for the adhesive. let me know if you need installation instructions.
