Re: Rsx Gauges
^ ok can i get the pinouts? cuz the k swap is going in this weekend. and i might just use a type s cluster. but also how hard do yo uthink it is to fab up some sheet metal for the brackets for this cluster to fit?
Re: Rsx Gauges
"dude.. i had the pinouts for this thing.. all u had to do was ask around and im sure someone would of had it"
I started a thread to see if anyone had it but only one peron replyed saying search better its been covered.
As far as pics go i didnt take any the first time, but im inluck because my little cousin riped the wires out and threw my backet in a pool and now its toast, so im starting all over i will post pic in a couple of days
The sheet metal will have to be thick and i dont know if it will support it will and not shake, I try it too to see. I worked with sheet metal for 2 years in air conditioning so i have the tools and know how to work it.

This is the reason why I don't post on here anymore. Because of dip ***** like this guy. I want to see if you have time when you work 6 days, 60+ hours a week, also I'm work on a 1993 240sx with a rb26 motor which is a bitch if you know anything about them and rebuild my civic tranny.

Re: Rsx Gauges
Thanks beadebaserr. The main reason why I start this post was to help people with the wiring diagram. As far as the mount part and making the backet for it, its hard and can be done many differant way so its up to you.
I' ve made about six of them and got one to my liking and it got destroyed. Right now I'm think about doing a complet crabon fiber dash and mold it in there, My uncle work for Team andretti green racing when i get my time off from work and their going to let me uncle work on it at the teams shop if I put a AGR racing on my car for a promo and bring it out to the indy 500.

Re: Rsx Gauges
yeah you can pick them up real cheap I got mine for less then 30 bucks and they gave me the wiring plugs. Just make sure every wire is on the right spot or you'll blow #9 fuse under the hood I think it wa that one. If you need help just pm me

Re: Rsx Gauges
I would definately do this...does the stock cover (trim ring thing) fit over it?? Also, can I take it to Honda to have the odometer calibrated properly?? will the fuel guage line up??etc
Re: Rsx Gauges
No the ring dont fit it, you need the whole cluster of the type-s . As far as being cailbrated I don't know. my car had 35780 on it and the rsx 36025 miles so i just waited until i got to 36025 to do the swap. One thing that sux about the gauges is that when i filll up my car it takes a little more then it use to which really trips me out and if your not careful gas will spill. Yes I know it's not the gauge that controls it and a flow vaule does but it like the gauges over written the vaule. I'll post some pic on how i mount it but it's up too you on make a brazle. Can some help me out on how to get the pic on this site and not a link.
Re: Rsx Gauges
bigd, when you click "post reply" (not post quick reply) look towards the bottom for a little button that says "manage attachments." you can post it that way.
and that's weird about the gas stuff. also, to the guy who questioned the mileage thing, there is a company that you can send your cluster to that will change it to the mileage on your car. i wish i had a link for it but it could probably be found easily through google.
