I was wondering if components in place of the 6x9s in the back are a good idea and if so what kinds and where should I get em at... sorry if thats a bit much but I don't want to remove the trunk springs in the back and the 6x9s i had from my old car didn't fit at all.
tweets bouncing off the window can be rough, so if you dont like bright highs, or highs at all coming from the back, id suggest going with a component set, or coaxial that has an offboard crossover, and when you put them in the back, removing the tweeter.
if you physically install the tweeter anyways, you cna always hook up the crossover if you want ot try out highs in back.
but that would be the real advantage of going with a component set in back, as opposed to a simple coaxial.
if something liek this doesnt really concern you, then there isnt any advantage to a component set in back at all. you can find shallow mount 6x9's
