i would like an opinion of a set up like this is ok.

i wanna get a mono amp with 300watts (520watts max)

and put it together with a 200wattsRMS (400watts max) sub.

i dont know if the amp would blow the sub or what... i am just a noob so i dont know..
if anybody has a comment on this i would appriciate it. thanks.

first of all, that sub is reccomended for free air usage, not for a box. if youre going free air, go for that one. free air means youd mount it in the rear deck or the back seat and use the WHOLE trunk as your enclosure

yeah... i red that... dont like that i tried to just not read that line and try it anyways....but what about a sub with similar specs that goes in a box? would the amp and sub go along?

im looking for something around 100dollars, but my main thing is that it looks very clean ( the sub ) ....alot of the infinities are clean looking to me...but im not sure if they are a good choice.

i will actually get this sub"Pioneer TS-W2541C 10" Single Voice Coil Subwoofer" i can get it at a good price and i think its a pretty good one

For $100 you should be able to get something better off ebay.

Not that the Pioneer isn't good, but you can do better for the same money.

thanks for those links Regularjoe. the panasonic speaker i get for 60 bucks.. so i dont think thats a bad deal, unless someone can tell me why the speakers u linked to would be better over the once that i am looking at.
