install kit

I am looking to replace the headunit in my 03 civic. I am going with a single din and looking for a temporary dash kit that is pre-fab. I did the search and saw that one you could not flush a hu and the other u can. What is the difference? Where can i order one of these, and which product in ur opinion is th ebetter of the two?

i have a 2001 civic and got the metra #7897 kit..

it lets you install the HU and keep the compartment with the door, other kits replace the whole panel and sustitute the compartment with an open pocket...

i dont know if its diferent for the 2003, but if its the same fit that's the way to go...
