Q-Logic Q-Forms
Hey,
Just wanted to know if anyones heard the Q-forms in our cars yet and how much better of a sound image they produce.
EDIT: And i also wanted to know if the Q-form on the driver's side would get in the way of the clutch.

qlogic wouldnt release them if they did, i would imagine.
and many SQ competitors place regularly runnign Qforms, so Qlogic has to be doing something right, as far as staging is concerned.....
so how much better? might be the difference between a trophy and not even placing......

I have them, they look great and do not get in the way of the clutch at all...nice OEM look to them. I haven't installed the speakers in them yet, still working on the doors.

I'll sure let you know if I EVER GET FINISHED WITH THIS INSTALL!
I'm going with the CDT Eurosport 3-ways up front with the Image Enhancement Kit....4's & tweets in the kicks & 6.5's in the doors.

i have the q-forms, and over placing speakers in the stock locations, its 10 times better with q-forms. the sound is a lot more centered, the way it should be. for $150, its a great deal. they really should be stiffened up a bit, and recently i put some dynamat on the metal behind the the kick panels, and it really helped the sound.

are the q-forms made so that we can have 3-way component sets in our car? On the crutchfield site it says taht only some 6.5's will fit into the q-form. That's why im wondering whether or not the Q-form is made to fit in 5.25's and have 6.5's in the doors?

what are some brands that make 3-way component sets (rather reasonable but still good ones (budget around 250ish)? I really like the Alpine Type-X's but they're waaay over my budget. I know audiobahn makes a set but then I'd rather not get audiobahn since, from what I've heard (my subs, I dont know how their comps sound though), their sound quality isn't too great.
