Angry q-logic made me mad today

i ordered q-forms a week ago from q-logic ( the shop ordered them for me, i was there when they were ordered ). we told them clearly that my car has the dark charcoal/black interior. well the q-forms came in today while i was at the shop. we open the box, and what do you know, there TAN. a waited a week for these guys to ship q-forms from a location thats just 1 1/2 hours from me ( they ship form stillwater, OK apparently ). the guys at the shop called them up, and told them what happened, and they are gonna overnight a new set tomorrow. hopefully i have these things in this weekend, so i can take pics but i was so pissed.
a good note though, these q-forms were great quality. i saw a set of q-forms that the shop installed on a ford explorer, and the quality of those weren't that great. the plastic is a lot thicker and sturdy on the set for the civic, it actually looks like a factory panel.
anyone else have q-forms, what do you think of them?

Like I had posted before, the Q-Forms for the Civic always turn out good. Several IASCA guys use them including a World Champion. Waiting on my charcoal/black ones also.

i think you have to order them directly from q-logic, i can be wrong though. our civic q-forms are new, so they might not have them on some online sites yet. regardless, i payed $150 for mine straight from them, i think its a reasonable price for the quality.

slick - you probably won't need the polyfill, you'll need to experiment with that. What you need to do is to line the inside of the Q-Forms with some "Dynamat" type material. You can even fiberglass the underside if you want but the mat will do fine. I also fill the empty spaces on the inside with non-hardening modeling clay. Another good idea is to use an MDF baffle for the mid driver.

thanks for the suggestions SQCivic. i have some dynamat that the guy at the shop gave me to cover the hole in the door ( where the speaker was ), i might have enough to line the q-forms.
i'm gonna have a b*tch of a time installing the hex's in those kicks, they are the exact diameter of the hole in the q-forms, they are a tight fit which means that the grill will most likely not fit. i was thinking of bottom mounting them instead of top mounting, but i'll figure that out once the hole is cut for them.
also, the plastic is pretty thick, after i took those pics, i tried cutting the holes for the speakers in the forms using a dremel and bit made for cutting plastic, but it didn't work. i think i need a finer bit for cutting, so i'll have to check home depot this weekend.
