speaking box shapes, the only shape that has controversy as to the sound is a perfect cube shaped box...

kinda stupid of me.. but how would i calculate the cubic volume in a triangled shaped enclosure? and would a traiangle enclure of the same volume as a boxed enclose be physically larger or smaller then its boxed counterpart.

To calculate the volume of a triangle box, start with standard volume calc.

(L * W * H) then divide that total by 2, cause the triangle is half of the cube.

To answer the second part, to get a triangle to match the volume of a certain cube volume, it would be bigger. Because a triangle is only half of the cube.

That would only work if at least one corner is at a 90° angle. If there's no 90° angles, you'd have to use one of these formulas.
Better yet, just get a Bazooka. They sound great and don't take up much room.

Thanks Bellz. When I posted the original formula, I was tired. Good job on finding those formulas . You da man!
