triangle enclosure vs traditional "square" box

kinda stupid of me.. but how would i calculate the cubic volume in a triangled shaped enclosure? and would a traiangle enclure of the same volume as a boxed enclose be physically larger or smaller then its boxed counterpart.

To calculate the volume of a triangle box, start with standard volume calc.
(L * W * H) then divide that total by 2, cause the triangle is half of the cube.
To answer the second part, to get a triangle to match the volume of a certain cube volume, it would be bigger. Because a triangle is only half of the cube.
