Im assuming that you have type e's or single voice coil s's on this one, if not, my answer wont be right..... to run them at 2 ohms you have to run them in parallel, and to run them in parallel you have to run them on one channel, so you need an amp that will deliver whatever power you are desiring (i would guess about 400 watts rms....200 to each speaker) on one channel at 2 ohms. Look at mono sub amps, because most stereo amps are not stable to 2 ohms when bridged.

Just wondering- but why do you want to run at 2 ohms? Lower impedence means lower damping factor means sloppy bass. Sure it means more power for less money but it comes at the cost of quality!

if this were true there would be no need for subs or speakers. the purpose of subs and speakers is to reproduce frequencies that the human ear can hear. Quality doesn't have to be expensive. An installer friend of mine once did his car in all optimus (radio shack brand) stuff. The installation made this extremely cheap equipment sound very good. Sure it wasn't amazing but it was better than a lot of the systems I've heard with much much more expensive equipment.

id prolly go wiht a jbl 600.1, it would be a fairly good match to those subwoofers, will put out 600 rms at 2 ohms, and also 600 rms at 1 ohm, so its super versatile for upgrades in teh future, or changes, possibly, and gives you a healthy amount of power for the woofers, but not OVER healthy, if you knwo what i mean

and it doesnt break the bank either, QUITE affordable on ebay, and even available at places like circuit city, i assume we have a budget to conform to....
