Newbie try to install sub

I did a search on how to install sub but nothing really help!

I am getting a sub from my friend and want to install it myself. Anyone can tell me or direct me to some info on how to do it? Do I need a pre sub output? thanks

You should be able to figure it out most of the stuff tells you exactly what to do. If you know how to wire your headunit then it should be no problem.
