I know the stock speakers are made by Pioneer, but if I want to upgrade to the better Pioneer speakers, are the mounting holes same as the stocks?

there are no mounting holes in the front, the speakers have clips built into them, so no, not up front. The 6x9s in a coupe have the same holes as any 6x9 you can buy in a store. Why would you want to limit yourself to pioneer speakers? Its not like they will just plug right in...

Pioneers are excellent speakers, every piece of audio i have (except 6x9s) are pioneer and i could not be more pleased with them! but yeah the door speakers are glue'd and clipped so your gonna need to drill some holes for any speaker you get. 6x9's should drop right in (check mounting depth though).
