Eclipse Titanium SW9122's
Does any have a set of these subs? The reason I ask is that I just picked up a set and I am looking for some dimensions for the enclosure. I would like to run a small sealed enclosure, but nowhere in the instruction specs or on Eclipse's site does it list any dimensions for one... Has anyone seen these in a nice setup? What are people's impressions of the subs? I've heard nothing but good things about them and that they can handle a ton of power. Just wanted to see what feedback you guys had about the enclosure and about the subs....
BTW, I'm planning on running a BD1000 to each sub......

Well I'm sure this won't help much, but I know somebody running the one of the alluminum eclipse 12" subs in their car and it sounds great. Right now he has it sealed in just a simple box he bought from a local shop. I also have an eclipse 12" but its the lower ones with the black cone. I just put mine in a small hatch style box and it sounds great as well. From my understanding (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe eclipse subs are very efficient and will sound good in pretty much any box you but it in as long as it is sealed well with no leaks. At least thats what I have been told and from my experience it seems to be true. My friend with the alluminum eclipse however is building a new box for his soon so I will ask him what specs he is building it to because maybe that will help for you. Hope that helped! Good Luck!
amazing woofers. seen several installs, including a pair of 12's in a dodge viper (now THAT was a crazy car!)
eclipse is real secretive about specs, its true. most likely work in a 1 cube sealed box, but i would take that with a pinch of salt. best bet is to call u eclipse and ask for box specs.
if the new ones are anything like the old ones, htey are very finiky when it comes to amplification. they need lots of clean power.
it should sound very innacurate and pretty messy if you power those speakers with those amplifiers. id look around for something else....

Thanks for the feedback....
I'll probably be using a 1 cubic foot enclosure, but I'll give them a call and see what they say....
As far as the amp goes, I can see where you're coming from...
The subs are dual 3.1 ohm......

3.1 is what the info that I got has for numbers.... The eclipse site has the same numbers too....
BTW, What amps do you guys recommend if you don't like the BD1000?
