Mitsubishi problems

I was helping my friend install an aftermarket headunit into her 2002 mistubishi eclipse. first we took out her factory player, then she left in her car to go get something from her house when she came back she said her sun roof wouldnt close and her interior lights werent working. i checked fuses they were good. then when we tried to start the car it wouldnt start.
We checked every fuse and charged the battery. i dont know what the problem is. does anyone have any clue to what it would be. your whole car shouldnt be screwed up by uninstalling the cd player.
The only thing i could think of is maybe its the anti theft but why would it have started up twice after we took it out.
if anyone has any hints or knows someone i could get intouch with about it please let me know thanks
Matt

i used to have a 93 eclipse gsx- awd turbo :-) ... i had the same problem... did u buy the wiring harness? cause what happened with me was that when i took the OEM head unit out the windows didnt go down nor did the headlights work...it had to do with the fact that the Headunit completed the circut... Kinda like if you remove our Hazard button from our cars you cant use the turn signal. they dont turn on .. cause the hazard switch is part of the complete circut... install the aftermarket cd player and then call Mitzu...if it is a security problem.. all u need do is give them the vin number and they'll tell you the code or what to do.. but i doubt its that.

Not really, just the dome light wont turn on when you open the door. Pretty stupid, why they made it like that. I was pissed when I put a diff cdplayer in my old 6th gen, but I got over it cuz the stock tape player suuuuuuuuucked.

I had a 2000 Eclipse GT with body kit, it sucked, so I got a 01 Civic EX. Within a year, the car's clutch was squealing, glove box sqeaking, speakers crackling etc. I couldn't stand of it.

you might have fried relay or something.... go through with your test light and check to see that all your fuses and relays are running power..
