Question question from an ice noob

i am a lost cause when it comes to ICE. i really only know how to hook a head unit up, replace speakers with new ones, but only if they have the little plug things and hook up a sub. other than that, i dont know how else to wire **** or anything.

anyway, on to my question: Can I have a component system in the door AND in one of those q-form panels? or is it one or the other?

what i really wanna do is get a nice head unit ($200-$350, suggestions?) and then do 4 compnent systems up front and a set of 6x9 in the rear. is it possible? will it sound good?

any other suggestions will be appreciated.

thanks, again i am totally new to this **** but i do have a few friends that know what they are doing so when i hook it up i will ok.
just wanted you guys opinion.

thats too much man. Why would you want that? if its loudness youre seeking, then youre looking at the wrong components. A set of MB quart's with 200 rms or a set of focal polykevlars with 100-200 rms will blow yer ears, even moreso, a DDw6 mid with a vifa xt25 tweet, thats just some volume obscenity

youre not supposed to know what those are because youd never actually get them. but if youd really want to know ddw6 is a midrange and a vifa xt25 is a tweeter.

www.onlinecarstereo.com

you can find mb quart's and focal polykevlars there.

A summary in plain english.

Its plain overkill.

Why get two sets of components and a pair of 6x9's when a single good set of components plus an amp will go loud enough to just about make your ears bleed.

Get a set of components up front on an amp. If it isn't loud enough you wanna go talk to Miracle Ear ......
