Does anybody have experience with either of these? I went to a local auto dealer here in lex, ky (autosound) and he played the boston 10" sub for me and it sounded good. He said the Kicker amp will push one of those. Im not into deafening base......I just want a lil thump and clear music......if you know what im talking about and have other recommendation of subs or amps that will output this type of sound and base, please let me know. thanx

i have a kicker kx1200.1 pushing 2 15s. If ur going with just 1 10", then go ahead and get a kx600.1. It's a class D mono amp w/ an internal cooling fan. You can prob get it for a lil over $200 NEW on ebay. AWSOME AMP!!!

what about a JBL 600.1 ??? I think they are pretty good... and they go around 200$

I recommend Eclipse. I have 2 12's, but with what you want, I'd either get a 10 or 12. The amps are great too. They give very clean power.

kicker 400.1 has much better onboard xovers and probably slightly cleaner power than the jbl bp series. jbl bp series is striclty power, no features.
