I am looking for Capacitors for my sub/amp probaly running 1 farad do you guys know any good brands that make Capacitor.

Do a search on caps and determine if you really want to spend your money on one.

Lightning Audio makes good ones, I have an RF one...which I like just because it has the cool digital volt read-out.

I got mine off of Ebay brand new.. it has a digital read out on it and its 1 farad and I got it shipped to me for under 85$ and it's working nice so far. look around online becuase I know that audio stores rip you off big time.

ok, let me teach you all something about capacitor brands. I believe there is only 2 or 3 companies in teh world that have the capability to build a capacitor for the size that car audio demands. of all those, i think only 1 or 2 actually caters to the car audio community. Therefore, by this information, we can easily say that a phoenix gold or audiobahn or some other high end capacitor, is identical to a pyramid or pyle one, but with a different logo. All there is is slight differences in ESR between the 2 or 3 different capacitors, which you will never notice.

Now on to the subject of capacitor, if you search, theres a billion threads where we explain the uselessness of caps.

Yeah you can pretty much buy any 1 farad cap and it will pretty much do the same thing, nothing. I have a 15 farad cap and really dont see that much of a difference, but then again I didnt pay anything for it either. Ahh the perks of doing side work for a car audio manufacturor. If only I could get a free high output alternator.
