ok.. i'm looking at 3 component systems right now..6 1/2's for my front

1)alpine type-r speakers
2)infinity 605cs
3)polk momo mm6

...i need help.. which one is better? and what amp is best for it... i have an infinity 652i for my rear speakers... my head unit is cdxm730..... thanks!

Alpines sound great in our car !...... but are a $#$@ to put in , but well worth the effort, glad I went through all the effort.

the best speakers in the world are the ones you think sound best, those are all quite common speakers, so i'm sure you could find them at a shop. Go around and listen to the demo boards...
I can give you my personal opinions

Infinities sound good but the tweeter is a tad harsh. They also lack lower midbass response.
Alpine's i never quite liked how they sounded
Polk momo's i think just all around suck

remember, this is MY opinion, and everyone else's too... Noone on this board, no matter how smart they seem has the DEFINITE word on which is THE speaker to buy

thanks for the reply's.. il probably go for the infinities... btw, what kind of amp do ou guys suggest? i plan to buy 3 amps(front, rear& sub) i havent decided on what subs should i get.. i plan to fix my front and rear speakers first before i go for the subs..
