Yeah, I think no matter what your car is gonna rattle somewhere if you have the volume up high...unless you carpet all of your panels like WhiteRabbit did. Even time I find a rattle and fix it another one seems to pop up (or atleast I notice a new one)! For instance this morning I noticed my right back seat passenger's panel was rattling like hell and it pissed me off!

Anywayz, Dynamat is kinda pricey...maybe look into fatmat (fatmat.com). Almost as good as Dynamat Extreme, and for half the price. I actually have some of both in my car, and i regret buying the Dynamat because of the price. Do it yourself too...it is easy! I also got a cheap lil roller to put it on with, and that made it easier (worth the 6 bucks IMO).

Yea. I gonna buy a whole roll of fatmat. hell for 100 bucks, you get a like 100 sq ft. I was also thinking of carpeting the rear deck like WhiteRabbit. That looks really good and finished off. When you put the Fatmat on, did you put in on the metal panel, and on the plastic piece also or both. I thought about doing both. Also if you goto the fatmat site, D's (I think) car is on there with pics the way he did it. Nice. But it'll take some time. My biggest thing is that rear deck, and I just have after market 6x9's.

you should inspect your trunk for loose bolts and screws, cuz that can cause rattling too, dynamat and fatmat is going to help a little of the rattling is not going to get rid of it

so, would i just do the whole trunk; my friend was sayin that he should of got a pro to do it... he dynomatted his trunk and is pissed cuz he missed alotta spots. He said that professionals know exactly how to put it on and where to put it, and that it would be werth tha money. I most likely would DIY it, but does any1 know how much it would cost to get it professionally dun?

Rattle like a *****. I hate it and there doesn't seem like anything can really stop it. Hell from playin my music soo much I hear rattles when my music isn't even on. I guess I just rattle stuff loose when I'm bumpin. Dynamat will help a lil but you ain't gonna get rid of all of it without some serious time and effort. If it's even possible.........

Did my whole car ('cept the ceiling) in fat-mat. No rattles here Used something like 90 sq. ft. The asphalt smell is just now starting to go away.

Seriously ... I never did anything from when I got my car and my trunk doesn't rattle at all ... so much so that my 1 12" in a banpass ... in some songs can be barely heard ... with doors closed and windows up.

When I got my civic ... when I pop the trunk to the left and right of the lock I got these big rubber stoppers ... that are about a 1/2" by about 5" long. They came with the car when I got it ... but they keep the trunk nice and stiff ... and I thought it something was wrong with my trunk lock ... cause when closing it you have to slam it pretty hard ... but I think its those rubber things that stop any rattle ... I was pretty HAPPY when that happened.

I had this exact system in my '99 Accord and the trunk rattled like a bitch ... so much so that I was embarrased to play my base up high ... cause all you heard was rattling ...

Anyways ... maybe my dealer put these things on ... I bought it in Quebec ... those Quebecois got wierd ways of doing things over there.
