Do I Need A Capacitor?
Hey everyone, just got a new system that I installed myself, and it consists of a single JL AUdio 21w3 w/ Alpine M300. My new HU is an Alpine 7893. Now, when im listening to music very loud, my subwoofer goes up, but when my speakers try to go very loud, they start to distort really bad. I have 6 OEM speakers by the way. Before I got my sub, and I just had my HU, they went up even louder. I was thinking that maybe its just me and my speakers have always been that loud at full blast, or that maybe my amplifier is using up too much power and taking too much away from my speakers. If this is the case, and im not sure if my amplifier uses that much, then should I get a capacitor? I would really appreciate your help, thanks!
