Idea
EDIT: I figured I would add two more DIY's on to this while I'm at it, because i've seen a few people as about them, so were up to 3:
1 - How to build a box and do basic fiberglass work to it.
2 - How to upgrade the wires under the hood.
3 - Fatmat, how to go crazy and install it everywhere.
I am about to start a really long and interesting install for my civic involving a 6 cubic foot box for 3 adire audio shiva's where its a regular box with the spare tire well connected to it to get extra air space
The baffle (place where the subs are mounted) will be in one big curve
Now, my idea is that since this will involve some fiberglass and some mdf work, i wonder if i should post up pics and explanations on what i did step by step for all you guys that are still learning????
or
??????
heres the basic idea for teh box (excuse the shitty MSpaint pictures)

If you hav a digicam or even a scanner it'd be a great DIY..and post about your mishaps and discoveries and stuff too

ive upgraded those wires to 0/1, but im still workign on it, becasue that bypassed the factory 80 amp fuse and i *think* it may be causeing problems, although im not 100% sure. the car drives great tho, takes a smidge longer to turn over. if you keep yoru battery under teh hood it should improve the turnover time tho.
I was looking at those two wires last night and the fuse box, and it boggles the mind (atleast mine )! Anywayz, that is why I usually use a 60 amp fuse for my power wire to the amps, because i don't want to blow that 80 amp one. I am not even sure if those are hard to find...I should check at Pep boys or radioshack. I would hate to blow that fuse on the way to Vegas or something and not have a spare

I'm very interested in how to upgrade the wires under the hood. I assume you mean the power wires leading from the battery? The negative is relatively easy, but I'de like to know how to handle the positive. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it.
