Kicker R5 5 1/4

I bought four of these from my friend. Got a good deal. Anyway, I know they're component speakers, what should I add to these to have good highs in my car besides tweeters. Do I need a crossover? Also, I don't need four, right? Should I just sell the other two and buy some 6x9s? Thanks

ummm..... an amp?

you can make them fit in a 6x9 hole if you want to, but if you have no subs you might be happier with the low bass from 6x9's.

and if those are just the woofers you will want something for your highs, or if you have an ex you can use your factory tweets for the time being. and yeah you need crossovers if you don't have them.

Thanks man for the suggestions! I actually do have subs, so maybe I should keep all four? I want to upgrade my highs, but didn't realize how much is involved, lol.
