Battery Keeps Dying From Using ICE.
I have a system in my car pushing 600 watts RMS and a playstation and DVD. I've had my battery die countless times. If I run the playstation or the music on for like 30 mins without the car on, it will die. I've left the dome light in my car on overnight, and the battery dies as well. What do you think I should get to fix this? I usually keep the car on, but this weekend I've been using my playstation a lot, and my gas tank is on E and I only went 165 miles so far. I was thinking about getting a second battery or something? Would that let me play my playstation without the car on for more than an hour? Oh yea, I have a 1 farad cap as well.
You can get an isolator and a second battery http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/LITSSR2002

Yeah, i agree...no matter what battery you have it is gonna die in less then a few hours if you don't have your car running...it is the only way for your car battery to recharge.

damn are u sure though that the car doesnt burn any gas when its on and not moving? I usually get a whooping 22 MPG without playing any games. When I do play games it drops to around 19-20, and this weekend I got around 16-17.
I have the same problem with my battery. First of all, (not to be repetitive) don't have the system on without the car running!!! Get a high amp/output alternator in combination with a deep cycle battery. To
keep from having a dead battery in the morning, rev your engine at about 2,000 rpms for a minute or two before you turn it off...In the meantime, I would call up Mr. Alternator...

Huh?!?! He hardly needs a H/O alternator!!! With 600 watts?!?!?!
All you need to do is have your car running! How is a H/O alternator gonna keep your battery alive if it is not even running
Dude, if you buy an H/O alternator I have a bridge in LA to sell ya
