there are 2 wires for the left door speaker but why the heck are there 4 wires for the right door speaker?
and i'm also getting engine noise from the right components now

no idea??..... there should be only 2 from both sides..... do u have an amp?...... cuz one set could be from the amp and one from the original wires from the deck.

all 4 wires into the right door speaker harness are orginal wires.. thats why i'm like WTF? why are there 2 on the left side and 4 on the right side?

well, i'm sure they don't all 4 connect to the actual speaker, so just use the two that are connected to the actual speaker.

so which two would those be b/c again, the 4 wires plug into the harness, and the harness plugs into the stock speaker. you dont actually see what wires go to where b/c of the harness
its also strange how no one else has 4 wires for the right door speaker

I know what your talking about. when i saw it i had no idea what the heck they were thinking. i just said screw it and ran new wire

Get a multi-meter, set it to DC-Volts, and crank the stereo up loud....then test to see which wires get signal from the radio.....or you could just run new wire....is kinda a pain, but it will both sound better, handle more power....and just be better.
