Alternator Pulley

Any good way to undersize your alternator pulley so that it will spin faster than normal? The pulley is on the alternator itself right. Are they easily removeable? Where can you buy a new pulley that is smaller and that will mesh correctly with the belt. I want to get aem pulley kit and use everything but the oversized alt pulley so i will hopefully cancel out and maybe ever still end up gaining a little HP when all is said and done

Try you locl UAP/NAPA, or any alternator shops..I have a smaller pulley on my alternator so it spins it faster because I was running alot of power and almost all stop and go driving..so I needed the juice at low RPMS"..

whats the point in running a smaller pulley to get a faster turn ? Does it make the alt create more power ? i've actually never herd of this is this a fix to getting a new high power alt ?

It doesn't produce more power...it produces it's power earlier in the RPM range..under 1500Rpms the alternator has very little output..
