Hey everyone, just recently I installed my new Alpine CDA-7893 and am using my stock speakers currently. I want to get a new system for my car and I want to start out simple with one 12 inch JL Audio sub with box, but I am not sure what amp I should get. At tweeters, I listened and most of the amps sounded good. I was looking at the Kenwood KAC819 Mono Subwoofer Amplifier, inexpensive but reliable, from what I hear. I am not looking to spend alot of money, like around $500 on the amp, sub w/ box. For this money, does this set up sound good? I am not a big music person, but I want more bass than what my stock 6X9s can give me. If you all have recommendations on the type of amp I should get, pleae refer to the amps at tweeters web site Here. Also, with this type of set up, should I take out my rear 6X9s? Thanks for you alls help!
