Box recommendations for a 15" Eclipse Alum
Anyone have any experience with these subs? I would like a box that will get loud but also have some kind of SQ. It will be powered by a DEI 1100D. Let me know what kind of box I should use for this sub. Thanks.

Oh I have tons experience with them...
they work optimally in 1.4 cu.ft for the DVC models, 1.55cu.ft for the SVC models...the DVC 4ohm versions don't play as low as the SVC's but have overall better SPL capability in the higher bass ranges.
If your gonna run a pair I'd suggest you put them in 1.6cubes each and stuff each one with a 2lbs of polyfill for the added low end response.
If you want to sacrfice your entire trunk the DVC alums actually work extremely well ported..in 2.2cubes each tuned to 33hz via 2 3" aerovent ports for each sub you'll have a very even frequency response in car and it will get really really loud

I only plan on having one of those. Do you think you can help me build the box (I would need some kind of drawn diagram, this is my frist time building a ported box that didn't have slot type vents).
