Car Alarms!

Reading the reviews various car alarms on the site I’m going to go with a Clifford alarm. I went Clifford’s website but it sucks for picking out the best model. If you don’t know Clifford alarms then they all seem the same. Does anyone know which one is the best for the money? I just want the alarm to protect my car and have a second channel to turn on my neons/etc possibly a third channel. If you know any good info on there alarms or other companies please post it for me.

Compustar all the way...Check out their site...Compustar Alarms.
It also comes with a LCD and a pager...The provider here where I'm at gave me a deal for $350.00 (only includes the alarm, keyless entry, pager, its two way, and the range is .25 miles...The more expensive one is 1.25 mile range)...Lots of other options for it too...Hopefully, that helps...

Personally, I like the clifford alarms better too, there's comparison charts that you can look at in this page with all the available options. Click here I think it has broader detail on which alarms has which options. Better than the clifford website.

What is the difference between the viper 550 and 600. I got the 550 with motion sensor, tilt switch, back up siren, and window option. Does the 600 come with some of these options I added on? First time I have heard of the 600. Always was refered to the 550.

Haha. Yeah, but at least it reminds people to get an alarm if they don't have one. I believe the viper 550 has remote start, but the 600 does not.

So let's get a hierarchy of alarms/alarm quality and prices. I really need to know.

And I want a 2 way pager alarm with the greatest (farthest) reception.

I've got a code-alarm two way pager. Its a new one they came out with I think its like CA-640 or something like that. I absolutely love it! No false alarms, range is AMAZING and works like a charm. The compustars might have better range though but I don't know if the quality is as good. I've been very very impressed with my code-alarm though.
