it's worth it...great CD sound quality.. MP3's on occasion skip with this unit...then again every other MP3 unit skips easier with MP3's than CD's...
Clarion used very high quality DAC's and output sections. You'll get a good clean signal to amps if you use them..their built in amps also pretty clean

That HU comes at a great price, but i remember when i was looking for HUs, it didn't 'have some features that most others did, like CD text, which was what i really liked. I don't know if it displays the song names of the MP3s.
