Stock radio settings

Hey guys, a friend of mine has a 2001 civic LX. He's got the stock radio, he was wondering what would be the best Bass/Tre level for when listening to rock music? Should the bass be higher or should the trebel be higher? Anyone can give him a number setting for both?

Audio is all personal preference. Just whatever sounds best to you (or your friend in this case). Though if you're listening to rock music, there isn't a ton of bass (compared to rap and hip-hop) so if I had to give a number, I would say 0 for bass. For treble, I would say 2 or 3.
