Mounting tweeters on A pillar... quick question
How do I run the wire from inside the pillar cover to inside the door? Im guessing through that rubber hose that connects the door to the body of the car.. but how would I get inside of that? Do i need to remove the dash? If so thats too much damn work. Where did you guys mount your tweeters? Where is thebest place? I was thinking right above the mid-woofer.
remove the kick panel where the hood release is.. and then pop off the panel on the side of the dash that usually covered by the door... feed it through there... dont go to the doors connect it before that.. why would you need to connect to the doors? all the wires run out the rubber connector anyway?
best place in a sedan is right in front of the door handle.. just use a dill bit and dill a hole... just trace a circle. on the coupe ... you have the option of the inside of the side view mirror.... although they might have come out with one for the sedan too since i have a 2001 i wouldnt know..

Just run it through the boot. It will be a pain with regular lamp wire so plan accordingly. I had twisted 12 gauge wire that was solid like a power cable so it only took me about 30mins a side.
