Tach and turn signal shortage! Plz help
Tach and turn signal shortage! Plz help
Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me here. I know this is a 7th gen civic forum but i really need help bad for my 92 civic. Here's my problem...I was driving the other day and I used my left turn signal for about 5 secs when all of the sudden my tach, speedometer and turn signals just died out on me. I knew right away it had to have been my turn signal causing the problem because my friend had crossed the wires on the turn signal bulbs to make them blink faster. When i checked the left rear turn signal bulb one of the wires on the bulb had come loose, I assume that this must have caused the shortage. So I looked through all the fuses, inside and underneath the hood, but all of them were fine. I'm not sure what i shorted out or how to fix it. The SRS light works still and the hazards work too. So right now the only thing that looks bad is the tach, speedometer and both turn signals. What should i do now? Are there and more fuses or any fuses inside of the tach? Or is the relay fried? Thanks for taking the time to read this.
My brother has a 94 civic and when I was driving it one time I had the same exact thing happen to me. The turn signal caused the lights to die but then it came back on. I think it is a relay problem. Check out your relay, the fuse shouldn't have any problems.
