I used to be a kenwood fan, but pioneer has so many more features and the display is much better. Go with a higher end pioneer with OEL display. I have the 940MP model and it's the best (blue display with purple buttons).

Rep Power: 322 In my opinion Kenwood products are pretty good! I have used the same Kenwood 10 disk CD changer for about 8 years or more!!!! It still works perfectly with a 2002 Kenwood head unit. I tried a different brand, and it had WAY to many useless features, so I returned it!!! I like Kenwoods because the have practical features and are dependable (like a Honda) IMO.

Rep Power: 326 Fonto's the man! I agree totally, I used to use pioneer hu's until I got a KDC-X617 and I love it, I will stick with eXcelon from now on. As for the display, Kenwood does have decks available with organic displays if that is an issue for you, not sure if the model you want has it or not, but I am sure you can double check.
