All good..except the 3-ways and tweeters.. definately should have gotten components instead dude..

neoretromax -yeah it was REALLY HARD to keep it all the same i looked all around for some of the stuff. The whole set up pretty much ran me about 2000, actually i also just picked up the dvd center speaker to go under the HU i am def. pleased with how it sounds.

Mohawk - Yeah your right... i got the front speakers form my GF for christmas... so i saw the tweeters for sale at my local store..... they came with the box so it actually sounds pretty descent...... i do wish i got the components though.

i also just thought up a few ideas to do to the car.......... wondering if you guys could help me out.....
i was going to have my local shop make some custom kick panels and i was wondering if you think i should get the components for the kicks or should i just stick with the regular ones that i have in the door?

isnt that alot of treble pointed at you, form the A pillars and now from the floor........... should i just scratch the kick pods.......... is there anyway i could add another pair of speakers?...... Also.....im not real happy with the bass im getting form the amp and subs...... u cant really feel the bass...... its more like the only thing i can hear is the rear deck rattle [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] just needed some help on that one. i think it is because a little bit of air is escaping from the box i have it in... could this be it [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

That's Kenwood subs for ya dude....

What you have to do is Ditch the 3-ways and tweeters..sell them.. but Components..the midbass response from good components is much better than coaxials.. If you're gonna make kickpods, you remove the door speakers and put those in the kicks..you don't just keep adding speakers...more is not better..it's much much worse..you get massive amounts of cancellation at some frequencies and alot of reinforcement at others.. Idally uou should have 6-8 Speakers in your car. 2 or 3-way components (4-6 speakers) 2 subs... No more..
