You're battery must've been low to begin with. Do you have your stereo up loud during the majority of your driving? You may be pulling more current from the battery than you are putting back in with your alternator. This shouldn't be a problem Or if you listen to your stereo a lot without your car running even though on low volume levels. At night with all your lights and and whatnot you battery is being used even more so having your stereo on doesn't help your alternator in charging your battery. You could get a yellow top which will help a little cause it is a deep cycle and holds more charge. But your POS 600 watt amp still pulls decent current from the battery.

a cap would help but it also puts a tiny strain on your batt. but i doubt it will matter with a deep cycle batter if you buy one. the only problem with deep cycle batteries is that IF it ever dies, it will take i think 10 hours to fully recharge?

Yellow Top Optima is deep cycle application, where you repetedly kill the battery and the recharge. Red Top Optima is a higher output (higher CCA and amp/hour) rating. If you are running only one battery in the car go with a RED Top. If you are running multiples put a Red Top as your starting/primary battery and yellows as an aux.

A Capacitor only helps if there is current to charge it. To sit longer with the car off you need a bigger battery. To just have better bass anytime you need a cap.
