What ground wire ga should i use?

I have a 160 watt amp im putting under my seat and i got 8 ga power wire running to it, but not enough length of 8ga for ground. What is the smallest size i could use? 10,12...?

You should use the same gauge ground wire as the power wire...so 8 gauge

Yea, you should use the same as the power lead. Although, you are running a 160 watt amp. If that's your total wattage then you should be ok running 10ga assuming you had no other choice but you should just go to the store and get some extra wire.
