hey,
I just recently purchased two 12'' kenwood subs (700watts each) and i am now looking for a box to put them in for my trunk. Does anyone know what kind of box I should get? Also where do u think i can get the best deal from online? (any sites?) Also does anyone know what amp i should get for the subs? I want to have a nice sound but also hard hitting.
Also my inside speaks are all pioneer. the new yellow ones (front are 330 watts and back are 300 watts) I want to kno should i get another amp for them? and if yes...what kind?
Any help would be appreciated. Please email me if it is easier to respond to it. Thank you..

Jon

I amped my fronts and the sub, and run the rears off deck power. I did this for imaging reasons.

In short I love it, on par w/ my $4k home theater system.

Take a look at my setup for some ideas. Look around at others rides too. All the ideas for my setup came off this sight. I got the idea for my amp board mainly from Fonto's car.

Pick an approach, some equipment to fit that approach, and then we can help you from there to tweak it into something that rocks.

For you subs, most commonly people will get a sealed box. I don't know of any good places online to get any boxes. Usually if you go to you local car audio retailer they can build you a decent box that'll work great.

As for an amp... there are many out there so it's hard to pick just one. I would find a 2 channel amp that is big enough to put RMS power through both your subs. That's the easiest way to go I think. I would look around at other systems that are similar to your and see how they have it set up to give you ideas because every system is different.
