anybody know where you could get a box design for a specific speaker(s) like in our car.....could you contact the company and ask them or stuck with local shops and what they know

well its been talked about somewhat before but it involves the diamond audio 12's the ones that have the crazy flip flop port inside the box, but the box is still big. i was wondering if or would it make a difference if you did more than one port ie a port at the front of the box and then port it through the rear deck (im goin to take those out if this is possible) and have like 2 6" ports where they are at.

that might be too much port area... the ports have to be of reasonable size to still have some acoustical suspension inside the enclosure to avoid any woofer overhang.....

Go to a car audio shop that does some custom work...they'll help you out and give you alot of ideas for free..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] and seeing as it's person to person you can explain things better..make little drawings..and whatnot

well the shop i was going to buy them from said the port length required was 54" long and it flip floped all inside the box, they said for them to port 2 12's there would be no trunk space at all and they wouldn't be tuned right, so they said that they would have to seal them up
