Rep Power: 297 Amps and power ratings.
I have a RF 500X Punch amp.
Its specs are:
62.5x4 @ 4ohms
125x4 @ 2ohms
250x2 @ 4ohms bridged
These are all that the manual gives.
If I bridge the amp to power 2ohm subs will it be pumping out 500x2 @ 2ohms? Am I right or wrong? Can someone please correct me and explain?
PS. Does anyone know the power ratings on an Alpine MRV-707 (I think its MRV)?
Thanks.

Rep Power: 0 Your best bet would be to wire your two 2ohm subs in series making them 4ohm, this will work fine with your amp.
As for the rockford it can handle 2.6ohm fine, I have used three 8ohm subs and still do, with no problems, I do have a small computer fan drawing cool air over the fins just for extra protection in the summer. Hope this helps.
