I have been looking into getting an Hu and I found that the some pioneers have the Organic Display. This seems to be the best from what I have read. I thought I was going to get one for sure ... but now i am looking at the Kenwood KDC-X659 because I just saw heard crossovers in action. (plus i like the 3 preouts) But I am wondering about the display in the day. It has a 3D-Fl display. Will this be good in the day?

I'm wondering the same thing, except I'm looking at a different model of Kenwood, hope it works though cause it sounds like a nice unit!

Not sure about the 3dfi, but I have an excelon KDC-X617 and it sux during the day....sometimes it is impossible to see when the sun is out. But it is a very good deck. I didn't worry to much about the display when I bought it.....but I really am happy with it. I would go with features before I went with display, but that is just me. Good luck!

Depends on if you want a color display or just the blue organic. I have the pioneer DEHP8400mp in my car and I like it a lot. Plus the display is good day or night even with our angle in the dash that the HU sits at.
