i dont think they are 12v though... cause all the 12v LEDs ive seen are just leds with resistors

why not look at the original LED's... or, plug them in to a source with variable voltage and then compare brightnesses... or you could get brighter ones....
if you have no source with variable brightness, use home batteries and wire them together to create different voltages...
i have no formal automotive or electrical education, but i make up lotsa theories, and sometimes theyre right =)

what leds are you talking about? you should be able to use the gels for any of the dash lights.

ok... im beginning to think JohnDoe is retarded.... not trying to flame or anything but dood.... i know i can put gels in front of them and change the color... im the one that had that original idea.... but i want to change the LEDs... thats why im asking about them

yah i was thinking of the same thing for my dash lights. the bottom lights seem a little too bright , do they bother you when u drive at night Ocelaris????
still looks better than the stock orange lights though

The thing about the bottom lights, the icons are perfectly fine, but the "light" that turns on when you push the buttons, are probably too bright... not too bright, just that they're directional... the lenses inside the button actually aim the light directly at the driver; there's just never been enough light to make it matter... So I reccomend either roughing up (or flattening) the spherical top of the LED, or encasing it in hot glue to diffuse the light, that should be sufficient.
