My friend bought a apexi vtec afc and he doesnt have a vtec but he wants to run power to it and act like he has a vtec.Is there any way i can hook this up to his radio i mean like run power so this will come on?If anybody know reply thanks

he can still use it as an S-afc i believe

What does he wanna run power to the v-afc itself or the vtec solenoid? If it's the unit itself yes he can hook it up and use the air flow controller portion of the V-afc it's just his Vtec feature of the V-afc will not be used for it's normal use. I have heard that someone hooked their nitrous up to it to trigger it, but otherwise he'd leave those two wires alone.

I know that he can hook it up but he doest trust anyone to mess with his ecu so he just wants to get it to turn on because he says it will look cool i try and try to tell him but he wont listen so what can you do right.So if anybody knows if i can run power to it like splicing in to the cd player please reply and help me out.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]
