If you had...
$2,500 dollars ( and only $2,500) and you had to completely redo your system from scratch, what would you buy?? Buying only stuff online, and nothing that is like 1 of only a hundred avalable in the US type of things.

Yeah Scarecrow (in response to you saying you would buy a brain), you would do the install yourself (assuming you have the tools), or use pre-fab products.

Focal utopia 6.5"s ($600), PPI PCX-2125 ($350) to those. A 15" Brahma ($450) powered by the orion XTR PRO 1400 ($550) (or 1200 or whatever it is.) and a high output alternator ($350 if mr. iraggi comes through). As for head units, eclipse or nakamichi. ($300)

I am still thinking what I would get...I would agree with the 15" Brahma even though I have not heard it (just because so many people talk about how great it is). I would probably go with the MB quart QSD 216s (which I have seen online for around $500). I have not heard Focals, but I have never heard ANYTHING bad about their speakers.
12w7 will spank a 12 brahma up and down the lanes, SQ or SPL, looks nicer, looks more impressive and is only a couple hundred more. and even mo will like the fact that it is more efficient.
need to know some information first: how loud do you want to get? do you want your sound inside or both inside and outside the car? what kind of music do you listen to? how much of your trunk are you willing to give up? and do you have any brand loyalties? no point in reccommending a clarion deck if you hate clarion in general......

Oh, I am pretty happy with what I have. It was just that if you had to redo your system on a budget of $2,500 what would YOU buy. Just to see what the people on this site think is the best products on a budget.
