Back to a Honda
Back to a Honda
Whats up guys here's my story...
In the last 3.5 years i've gone through 6 different cars, two of which were/are hondas. I've had...
-99 ford escort zx2-totaled(not my fault)
-99 civic lx sedan-sold
-02 mitsubishi eclipse-sold
-91 s-10-junked
-04 Subaru WRX-wrecked(not my fault)-repaired and sold
-00 Civic Si-the daily driver
Over the past few years i've accumulated a substantial wealth of knowledge so i can hopefully help out here and there. This is the first Honda i've owned in over 2 years so i'm just going to have to get my hands dirty again and get reaquainted with the wonderful engineering of a honda motor.
not gonna lie...i'm actually kinda excited

Re: Back to a Honda
The positive encouragement is nice. Truth be told i only bought the civic for a nice commuter to and from school. I go to school at Wyotech in Blairsville and have an apartment up here, but i still go home every weekend in pittsburgh which is about an hour drive. The WRX was great and all but it ate 93 octane like it was cool. I'd much rather get like 30+mpg with 91 octane any day.
I never could leave well enough alone though. So of course i have plans to modify the civic. I'm new to tuning honda's but i'm in no way going to rice this thing out. I am thinking of doin an all motor build. LS/Vtec or something along those lines. Limited slip differental is a must becuase i'm an avid road racer. Beaver run raceway is only like an hour away from me.
Any suggestions on some road racing setups for a 2000 si?
