TV In Place of Cup Holders

Anyone tried putting a tv screen where their cup holders are on the 7th gen civic ex model? my friend just did it in his 6th gen civic and it looks clean.

ive seen a few people with that..osofast and someone else...it looks clean, but i love our cupholders..they actually fit almost ANY cup..unlike my friends sentra and jetta. plus the shifter gets in the way, sorta. i wanna mount mine under the center console...but im afraid to mount the bracket upside down...ive seen a few people with this set-up as well...if u have it...any suggestions?

Thx,.

Yes when i remove it the mounting arm is still there. It doesnt bother much and u can still use the cupholders.

As for the leather. That was dealer installed when i bought my car. It was 900$

Edit: I really dont have problems witht he viewing angles. Most viewing problems are because i dont have tints and sometimes a reflection bothers me. but that's it.

We need more room in our cars

That setup looks like it will work tho Just not too fond of giving up the cupholders tho. I use them every day

Ive totally considered visor screens too.. but I have a visor cd holder and i use that every day too. Lol I think i need to convert my 7th gen into an SUV or something. I think i'll just get a custom piece for my console to accomodate both a deck and dvd player with 7" screen.

I just got back from a 2500 mile round trip to cali and back to seattle. On road trips you know you alwase get the biggest drinks and alot of places still do not carry the smaller bottom 44oz drinks like taco bell. Anyhow I was really surprised how well everything fit. Thoes cup holders so far have never failed me once If you drink stuff in your car, probably look elsewhere when sticking that monitor cauz the cup holders in our 7th gens are honda designed functionality at its best
