Alpine deck dead??

Alpine deck dead??
Ok guys I am confused as hell. On my way to Ruby Tuesday my Alpine cd player (CDA-7862) screen just went black. It was still playing the cd, and the buttons still light up. I have reset the thing three times already?? I mean everything still works just not the display that shows the time, track number?? The the cd player has sat 11 hrs before turning it back on after this happened. I haven't pulled out the cd player yet to see if it is a wire or anything. I thought I would ask to see if it has happened to anyone here yet? (and no I don't have the blackout mode on this model alpine deck)

Rep Power: 0 Send it in for warranty repair. Something is broken...same thing happened to my alpine 7815 but only after 5 yrs of service. Unit still works perfectly but display doesn't. Probably a burnt out bulb/led or a short somewhere.
