under the driver/passenger seat. or right next to the e-brake, might want to rig it for easy access... leave the top off or something. i know it sucks cause our glovebox are so small
when i had mine in, i screwed it to the lower part of the back seat on the front. but when people get in they have a tendency to kick it or whatever. it might fit under the passenger seat but i cant remember.
used to have mine mounted to the backside of my rear fold down seats worked great with the little display i made with it...just have to get longer cables.
mines under my passenger seat. if the seats pushed back for people to sit u can see a bit of it sticking out, but when i park i slide the seat up a few inches and it hides it great.
I personally think it's best when mounted in the trunk. I know it sucks to have to go back there but so does other people kicking it or making serious changes inside your car like mounting it through the glove box. After a while of kicking it and bending over backwards to put a damn game in or what ever, it will be just as painful or even more painful to have it inside the car then mounting it in the trunk. Plus you want it easy to take out if you don't have another ps2 in your house or maybe if you go to a friends house that doesn't have one.
I sure wish my car was newer

My friend and I just installed a PS2 in his 3.28i. What we did is... there is a little plasic piece under the dash on the passenger side, and we took "L" brackets, converted them to "C" brackets, attached them to the underside of the dash, put a piece of MDF on the bottom, covered in factory matched carpet... and voila. With thinking the idea up, buying the materials, assembly, and installation, it took us from 5:30 to 12:30. Just a saturday night. I don't know if we have that kind of room in the Civic. But its worth measuring out. He just bought the PS2 remote for $20 at best buy and has the passenger change the game/dvd/cd. Yeah, he has no dedicated CD player right now. But with adequate padding and a good design, it won't skip.
hey PTECHRICER.. man get creative.. do what imma doo any WARM day now.. you know where the E brake is... pull that lil plastic tiny console thing out.. and the PS2 will slide 1/2 way in.. MODIFY the car to get it in all the way.. email me at CHUCKP@nyc.com// ill give you more details if your confuzed.. this goes for any one..
