Hey man. i got a set of 5.25 in my civic. i am not sure if the installer had to make any mods to make them fit. if he had to he would have told me. so i dont think you will have a problem with it.

In the Coupe, the fronts are 6.5" and the rears are 6x9". Those 5.25" speakers will fit, depending on their depth. You're limited on the depth, especially in the front doors. Thin mount 6.5's work fine, but some will require a spacer or adapter. The fronts have a maximum depth of 2". The rear 6x9's have a maximum depth of 3 and 7/16". Speakers with larger magnets and/or tall tweeter mounts might give you problems, so it wouldn't hurt to consult a stereo shop for tips on what fits. I'm sure most have installed several 01+ civics by now and could help you, especially if you buy their speakers.
