Get Infinity. Infinity and Boston Acoustics have the best sounding speakers out there in my opinion.

I agree. I got my Boston RC620 components off Ebay for $125. I think it rocks. My brother even traded out his entire stereo speaker system out after he heard mine.

why not save a little longer and get another better speaker to replace with instead of wasting your money to sound a little better now then pay again to get it where you want it? also, those jbl gto635's are gonna run you around 100-110 anyway, so why not put a little more with it and buy the new kappa 63.5i or better yet, get the alpine type r spr 147a's? i could go on and on, but its your money not mine, get what will satisfy you, because in effect it is your car, and its your money, so its only right that you be happy. but 100 for those infinity's are a decent price, i could buy the same ones new for about 10-15 dollars more mainly because my boy owns a car audio shop, but 100 is a good price, depending on how long they've been used.

Those kappa 3-ways he is selling are great, I have those in my rear. The price is a bargin. I would save and get those. If your still not sold on those, you might want to just take a day and go to a store and listen to the speakers and pick what you like.

Yeah, the Kappa's will not fit. I bought a pair for the front but they would not fit without cutting into the door frame, so I decided to put them into the back, what a job to get the back speakers in, they had to take out the seat etc. Anyways, the guy made a mistake and only charged me $26.00 for the install !!! What are the best speakers for the 4 door sedan up front. I am looking for help from all you guys, please indicate if mods are required for the installation. I prefer a clean install but minor cutting is ok as long as it is out of site (car is leased). Please add components and as well. I have seen that infinity is the popular choice on this board. Is it b/c of the ease of install into the civics or the quality, or both? I want to get as much choice as possible for my fronts. Currently I have stocks in the front and infinitys 62.5i in the back. I am missing lows but i guess this is to be expected. Should I consider getting some base up front or should I just add subs later on in the back to get my lows. I am not sure how to set up the system , so i am asking.

Thanks guys

all depends on
A - how much are you willing to spend
B - how much modification are you willing to do to your car
C - Amped or HU power
D - your personal preference

1. I wanna spend about $200-$250 on speakers
2. I dont wanna do alot of mod cuz its a lease car. I suppose the limit I am willing to go is cutting the metal where it is not viable to the eye
3. I wanna supply power through HU for the fronts.
4. My personal preference is infinty or JBL, but else is there out there that sounds good and will fit. I heard kenwood is not that good so i try and stay away.

Another question. On Crutchfields... where can I find out what the maximum mounting depth is for the civic sedan in the front. The speaker specs only give top mounting depth. If somene would be so kind as to tell me if what Cruth says on its site, is truly what will fit in the car (without mods). I guess if you pick something that does not fit as per Crutchfield, then you will have to make mods?
