I'm getting three of those, and Mohawk recommended an Earthquake PHD2 shredder. They're 500watts RMS and 1000watts peak . . . EACH.

Isn't the sound from a 12 usually tighter than a 15? Forgive my ignorance, but I've generally heard that 12's produce tighter, sharper bass.

Pending the enclosure size, subwoofer construction Amps damping ability..

Eclipse alum and Ti 15's are tighter than most 12's out there...

Their slightly used, but these subs can take a major beating..I used to have a pair in my 2k1 Elantra which got over by a garbage truck..so I lost the subs and my amps...since then I been re-building..

So for tight bass, you'd recommend 2 of they're 15's over 3 of their 12's?

and 15's look intimidating. the 12's would sound tight as 10's and play lower than most 15's.. gotta love that 25mm of linear excustion each way

You'll need to fabricate or buy about 1/2" spacers. The tweeters will need to be custom mounted, probably in the door panel.
