Stock Speakers

i was listening to linkin park last night in my car and all of a sudden, one of the speakers started to sound really bad. on the bass hits, it would flop around instead of having tight bass. i isolated it to the passenger side 6x9 (i have a coupe) it sounds like maybe the surround is shot. is it that or could it be something else? also, is it worth me going to honda to get it replaced or just put my new speakers in there a little earlier than i had planned. the car is about 5 months old

The same speaker in my coupe blew out when my car was about 1-2 months old (so long ago I dont remember). I ended up just taking it back to the dealer and they replaced it.

Mine blew after I put my aftermarket HU in, but it did me a favor and gave me an excuse to upgrade. Just get better ones and don't hassle with going to the dealer.
